Guided tours of Avenches
Free guided tours in French and German are organized by Avenches Tourism every night of the performance. Meet at 17h00 in front of the Avenches Tourism Office.

Introduction to the Opera
A presentation on the opera and the author take place each evening of the performance at 18h00 at the Castle Theater (Théâtre du Château) A sign is posted at the location. Free and no registration required. Georges Athanasiadès presents the opera review.

Roman Museum
Exposition
The Avenches Roman Museum is opened exceptionally until 20h30 each evening of the performance. Entry is free for all opera ticket holders.

Subtitles
So that the opera is accessible to the widest possible audience, the Festival will offer new subtitling. Two large screens will be placed at the top of the seating areas so that everyone will be able to follow the opera text in French and German.
